Ni no Kuni II's The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC revealed

Just a few days ago we reported on the reveal of a major DLC package for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and now Bandai Namco has provided official details on the DLC called The Lair of the Lost Lord, coming this winter either for purchase or automatically via the Season Pass.

"A mysterious gate has appeared in the Rubbly Ruins leading to the Labyrinth, the chaotic root of the corruption spreading over the world. And The Prince of Wraiths, the mysterious ruler of the Labyrinth, is planning to use this corruption to destroy the Evermore Kingdom," the press release reads.

In this expansion you'll have to enter the Labyrinth yourself to face whatever may be inside, so you can stop the prince and bring peace to Evermore once again.

It's not just a new narrative we're treated to though, as The Martial Method is also changing the way we do battle, providing a new power-up that you can get from the memories of people you meet, with more details coming soon.

On top of that we're also getting 80 new pieces of equipment, new quests to unveil the backstory of some of the main characters, as well as one returning foe who wants a rematch from our heroes.
