343 Industries is looking to make a return to the Halo esports ecosystem that was so prevalent in the early 2010s with Halo Infinite. The title that will be arriving later this year on December 8, will be launching with nine partnered esports organisations to ensure that the Halo Championship Series is correctly supported and bigger than before.

Revealed in a blog post, the nine teams that are already partnered for launch are:

  • Cloud9

  • Team Envy

  • eUnited

  • FaZe Clan

  • Fnatic

  • G2 Esports

  • Natus Vincere

  • Sentinels

  • Spacestation Gaming

These teams, a few of which have already announced rosters, will be joining to ensure that players, coaches, managers, and all the other aspects that running an esports team requires are financially covered. As a partner team, each organisation will be getting in-game content where they will be receiving a share of the revenue from the items, with plans for several iterations of content to be developed and added to the game.

343 has also noted that while it has selected these nine teams for the launch of Halo Infinite, there will be more teams added to the partnership program after launch. There has not been a timeline noted on when other teams will be joining the program.

You can read more about the teams in the latest blog post from 343 Industries on Halo Esports here, where it also reveals the rosters of some of the teams.
