In a strange yet somehow predictable turn of events, a group of Twitch streamers and content creators have teamed up with toy company Wicked Cool Toys to produce a set of figurines... of themselves. In a world where you can get a Funko Pop figure of just about anything, this doesn't surprise us. Some of the streamers included are Richard "Ninja" Blevins, Guy "DrDisrespect" Beahm, Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar, Saquib "Lirik" Zahid, and Jaryd "Summit1G" Lazar.

Once the release rolls around later this year, other merchandise will sit alongside the figurines including plush toys and games. In a landscape that can, at times, seem temporary with YouTube and Twitch stars rising and falling, this could add more credibility to this "elite" band of content creators. Whether or not we're still talking about these stars in a few years time, these physical toys will always exist.

Of course, this being the digital age means it doesn't stop there, and the figurines come with the ability to interact with your smartphones in interesting ways. An augmented reality mobile game will release alongside the merchandise, which interacts with the figures depending on which you pair up, playing soundbites from the creators themselves. This interactivity seems an interesting way to set the merchandise apart from similar toy lines.

Will any of these figurines be gracing your shelf?
