British studio Ninja Theory has, along with the likes of Naughty Dog, always prided themselves with being pioneers in terms of the technology they utilise to make their games as cinematic and well directed as possible. This is evident for anyone playing games of theirs, such as Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

With their next game, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, they want to take this one step further and at the same time significantly decrease the time it would normally take to render the cutscenes. In a new trailer they call "Introducing Realtime Cinematography" they show exactly how they are doing just that.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice hasn't gotten an official release date as of yet, but it's planned for release on PC and PlayStation 4. You can watch the video below.

REVIEW. Written by Eirik Hyldbakk Furu

"Ninja Theory said that they didn't want to make a game that was supposed to entertain everyone, but give us an experience we'd never seen before."
