Yesterday, the 2021 Six Invitational concluded, seeing the best teams in the world fight for the $1 million cash prize, and following securing the top seed after winning out the upper bracket, Ninjas in Pyjamas defeated Team Liquid 3-2 to win the premier tournament.
This result is an improvement on last year's result for the team, as they managed to make it to the grand finals in the 2020 Six Invitational, only falling to Spacestation Gaming at the final hurdle.
Now that SI2021 has concluded, the Rainbow Six pro scene will be looking to return to regular league play in its respective regions.
Also revealed during the Six Invitational was the next season of Rainbow Six: Siege, a season that will bring a new healing Operator and plenty of other changes, including reworks to the map Favela.
