Nintendo revealed their lineup of first and third-party games for the Wii U at their press conference today, including titles; Super Mario Bros., Pikmin 3, Wii Fit, Batman: Arkham City, Scribblenauts, Assassin's Creed III and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Set to launch this Christmas, Wii U introduces the Wii U GamePad, with its 6.2-inch touch screen and twin analogue sticks. The GamePad will give gamers a new tool to interact with, and Nintendo look to be once again pushing interactivity to new limits.

"The GamePad doesn't just introduce a new type of game play, it redefines an entire dynamic. With asymmetric game play, multiple experiences are possible in the same game at the same time. That's transformative," said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime.

"While games are the focus of this year's E3, the Wii U story also includes the enhanced social connections and integrated entertainment experiences created by the GamePad. We're providing a glimpse of that with the introduction of Miiverse and by revealing partnerships with some of the biggest content providers on the planet."

Wii Fit U makes a return, and as with other titles, it will use the GamePad in unique ways, hopefully adding to the experience.

LEGO City: Undercover is being developed by TT Games, and like
Ubisoft's ZombiU, it is exclusive to the Wii U. Assassin's Creed III, Mass Effect 3, Darksiders II, Aliens: Colonial Marines are amongst the third-party titles announced on the console.
