Nintendo has shown off TVii, it's television streaming service for the Wii U.
The company debuted the service during its Wii U conference, and demoed how the GamePad can be used to interact with shows with social networks, letting you comment on specific moments in shows, take part in audience polls and comment on what you're watching. But the GamePad will also have an in-built DVR to record shows to watch later, and a circular UI on the screen to work as a remote. There'll be support from the likes of Hulu Plus, Amazon and Netflix
The service will be rolling out in US and Canada, and the company is exploring bringing it elsewhere.
