Nintendo won't show new hardware at E3

News about the upcoming hardware from Nintendo codenamed "NX" is in high demand, and many fans have been anticipating its reveal at this years E3.

Nintendo crushed these rumours today during an investors conference (translated by Kotaku), by stating that the company would not show off the NX until 2016:

"Presently, we cannot talk about the time period when it [the NX] will go on sale or what it's like. Because we are calling it a ‘new concept,' we are not thinking of this as a ‘simple replacement' for the 3DS or the Wii U."

We'll have to wait and see what the company has in store.
