Battlefield 1943

No 1943 with Battlefield 3

Bonus retracted on PS3.

During E3 it was announced that Playstation 3 owners who picked up Battlefield 3 would get Battlefield 1943 as a bonus. Now EA and Sony have announced that this will not be the case, after consumers complained. The following was tweeted on the official Battlefield feed.

"In lieu of 1943 being available on disk for PS3 customers, EA has made all BF3 expansions available early to PS3 customers."

Basically instead of the promised Battlefield 1943 PS3 owners will have early access to all DLC. Compensation enough?
