Nordic Games & Piranha Bytes reveal new action-RPG

Nordic Games and Piranha Bytes have announced that they're joining forces to produce a new action role-playing game. The game is called Elex and according to the announcement it's going to be "edgy, dark, uncompromising and complex" gaming experience.

Elex is aimed for release in winter 2016/2017 on PC and current gen consoles. It'll also be present at Gamescom 2015 this coming August, at which point the studio will be premiering a vertical slice build of the game.

"ELEX is a handcrafted action role-playing experience from the award-winning creators of the Gothic series, set in a brand new post-apocalyptic science fantasy universe that puts players into a huge, seamless game world full of original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices and powerful action."
