OG Esports has announced that it has re-signed "the big three" of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. Now, Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, Valdemar "valde" Vangså, and Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski will all remain with the organisation until the end of 2022, thanks to the extension.

"It is now with great pride and happiness that we prolong until the end of 2022 with Aleksi, Valdemar and Mateusz as the core of the project," said Charlie Debs, COO of OG esports. "The three of them have shown all along the way their commitment to the game and the competition, but also to the OG values and to their teammates."

OG Esports had a pretty great end to 2020 in CS:GO, netting over $305,000 in prize money. With this contract extension, the organisation has reaffirmed its commitment to the Counter-Strike scene, and is expected to remain a major name for the next couple of years at the very least.

As for when we'll get to see OG compete again, Flashpoint Season 3 is set to begin in a few weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
