After a far from warm reception - with a lot of criticism from both press and players. Activision has announced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 on PS3 and Xbox 360 have been delayed. The old-gen versions of the game were expected on November, but for now the company hasn't confirmed a new launch date.

Regarding the new-gen versions, Activision has announced they are working hard with Robomodo to fix the numerous issues and bugs in the game, even after the massive day one patch (larger than the game itself), which seemed to be of little use.

"We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360. We will update the community when we have more specific information about a release date for PS3 and Xbox 360".

Rumours on the internet suggest that Activision's license for Tony Hawk is running out, so time is of the essence.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is already available on the PS4 and Xbox One. Have you already read our review?
