Original Prince of Persia found

Jordan Mechner, the designer behind the classic platformer Prince of Persia, has revealed that an interesting discovery has been made at the back of his father's closet.

In his blog Mechner explained how his dad, when clearing out an old closet, had sent him a box of games that he later discovered contained a disk with the original source code for Prince of Persia on it.

Mechner has promised to release the code, just as soon as he has worked out how to get it off the disk.
