The first day of the Overwatch League Grand Finals is over, with the second beginning shortly. To ensure you are up to date with the events of day one, here's a quick rundown of what happened.

The first matchup, between the San Francisco Shock and the Seoul Dynasty went down to the wire. After starting off strong with a 2-0 lead in the series, the Shock looked almost unbeatable, at least that was the case until map three, Volskaya Industries, where the Dynasty began to mount a comeback. Throughout maps three and four, the Dynasty made the Shock look mortal, even annihilating the Shock 3-0 across Havana. Map five however was a different story - a quite frankly disappointing event, as the Dynasty once again seemed to be the inferior team, getting blown out by the Shock over the course of Busan. The Shock advanced to the Winner's Bracket, with the Dynasty moving into the Loser's Bracket.

In the day's second matchup, the Philadelphia Fusion took on the Shanghai Dragons. Unfortunately, this one was a let down, as the Dragons battered the Fusion to within an inch of their life, ending in a short 3-0 victory for the Dragons. The series started with Control on Busan, which went the distance, seeing the Dragons win 2-1, after this however, the Fusion never got a point on the board across the next two maps, seeing the Dragons dominate the series in a blistering speed. The Dragons move into the Winner's Bracket to face the Shock, with the Fusion moving to the Loser's Bracket, against the Dynasty.

Day two begins at 10am BST, so be sure to check out the action at the Overwatch League's website.
