It was Lucas Pope's Papers, Please that earned the highest accolades (the Seumas McNally Grand Prize for best independent game of the year) at last night's Independent Games Festival award show at GDC. It's the 16th annual IGF awards and this year it was honest by Capybara Games' co-founder Nathan Vella. Papers, Please also picked up the Excellence in Narrative and Excellence in Design awards, while The Stanley Parable picked up the audience award.
