A pastor on the TrueNews radio show engaged in a huge rant criticising Pokémon Go and claiming that it was giving terrorists access to our personal information.

Rick Wiles, who hosts a show on TrueNews, spoke about how the augmented reality game has been targeting churches and, more specifically, Christians.

He said: "This technology will be used by the enemies of the cross to target, locate, and execute Christians," forgetting that if people wanted to locate people at church, it might be simpler for them to use a map.

On top of this the religiously convicted man called the game "a magnet for demonic powers" and that it unleashes "virtual, digital, cyber demons."

We'll leave you to come to your own conclusions regarding that last statement.

It is true that Pokémon Go is inspiring trainers go to churches as they are often the location of Pokéstops, which players are looking for so they can stock up on the resources needed to play the game.

Wiles fearfully asked: "What if this technology is transferred to Islamic jihadists?" If that happens, our guess is that they'll use it to catch pokémons, but you never can be too sure.

"It isn't without its flaws, but what's there is engaging, innovative, and most importantly, fun."
