Every year, Time Magazine ranks the 100 most influential people in the world, and finding folks from the lovely world of video games isn't entirely common. This year, two people from the industry showed up on the list, and one of them is the Swedish YouTube phenomenon Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg.

The reason for his spot on the list comes via South Park co-creator Trey Parker, who writes that the "first time my stepson showed me a PewDiePie video, it made me feel old".

Parker says that the more he watched, the better he "understood why Felix Kjellberg, with some 43 million subscribers, is the most-watched person on YouTube."

Oculus founder Palmer Luckey is also on the list, and his motivation is written by Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator) who says that the "technology Palmer has shepherded has made it possible to experience storytelling in ways we previously could only imagine".

Other famous people on the list is the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the pro-wrestler / actor Dwayne Johnson, German chancellor Angela Merkel, Lucasfilm head honcho Kathy Kennedy, and American presidential candidate Donald Trump. Take a look at the full list over here.
