Last month the first classic Sega Ages titles were launched on Nintendo Switch. These included Sonic the Hedgehog and Thunder Force IV, and originally an expanded port of the Master System classic Phantasy Star from 1987 was supposed to join them.
The game missed the launch date, and now, according to Nintendolife.com, Sega has confirmed that the game will join the line up on October 31. At least in Japan. We have no word of a European release date yet.
The Sega Ages version of the game comes with some new features and adjustments, like a menu option for decreasing the difficulty, hiragana text option (from the Saturn version), the actual graphics of the game, however, haven't been touched much from what we can tell. In addition, dungeons will have auto-mapping, and new monsters will automatically be added to your codex, so you can study them before engaging them in battle again.
