Phil Spencer meeting with Japanese publishers for partnerships

While not for lack of trying, Xbox has yet to secure a proper foothold in Japan, or Asian countries in general, and mostly that's due to the lack of dedicated software made for those particular audiences. That could stand to change drastically though, as Spencer is set to meet with publishers and developers from Japan this week to secure partnerships for the future.

Spencer revealed this through Twitter, where he also pointed out that these conversations with game creators in Japan should provide Xbox with valuable feedback in the hopes of better understanding both the developers and the consumers.

"Spending this week in Japan visiting studios and publishers, will be great to talk about games in development and get feedback on how we keep making progress with creators here," he writes,
