Phil Spencer: There'll be no Halo or Gears of War this year
The priority is "new experiences with different IP."

Xbox boss Phil Spencer got the question on Twitter yesterday regarding the games line-up for 2017, and he was quick to point out that they will not be focusing on old IPs or FPS games for this year, but will be putting their time, money, and efforts into creating brand new experiences and fresh takes on stuff you've already played. Safe to assume we will not be getting a Halo Scorpio or a Forza Scorpio this fall, then?
"The Xbox One games shipping this year are different for us. Not Halo FPS/Gears of War led, new experiences with different IP, will be fun year," he said. Would you rather see new stuff, or more of old things like Gears of War?
