The Philadelphia Fusion has dropped three of its star players, as it looks forward to the 2021 Overwatch League season. Tank line members Sumin "SADO" Kim and Junho "Fury" Kim will be joining the free agent market, alongside DPS talent, Seunghyun "Ivy" Lee.

The Fusion achieved a pretty stellar season performance, finishing at the top of the North American standings, only a few games behind the dominant Shanghai Dragons. The team also made it to the Grand Finals weekend where they unfortunately could not best either opponent they faced, in the Dragons or the Dynasty - actually never taking a map across the entire weekend.

You might think a performance of this degree would warrant a less strict approach to roster rebuilding for the 2021 season, however, coming into 2020, the Fusion were regarded as a 'superteam' - consisting of a line-up of players that should contend for the OWL trophy.

Philadelphia has made a few roster additions to reflect these changes, in the acquisition of Donggyu "Mano" Kim, which we reported on a few days ago.

Which do you think is a stronger team, the 2020 or 2021 Fusion?
