Planetside 2 gets E3 trailer, won't require PS Plus on PS4

SOE's MMO shooter prepares for the leap to console.

Here's the latest trailer for Sony Online Entertainment's Planetside 2, the free-to-play shooter that started life on PC but is soon heading to PlayStation 4.

With hundreds of players playing on persistent servers, shooter fans have much to look forward to when it makes the leap over to console. The game will be playable at E3 this week.

It was also confirmed earlier this week (by Matt Higby on the PS Blog) that the game will be totally free-to-play on PS4, with "no PlayStation Plus required".
