Back in April, the first-ever esports tournament for early access shooter Battalion 1944 took place, and while the main prize was a respectable €5,000 the winners were also set to receive special weapon skins as a thank you from developer Bulkhead Interactive. However, several months passed and the studio was slow to deliver on the prize.

This delay led to one of the leading members of the community, SUSPC7, to complain over on Discord, where he threatened to attack the studio. He even compared what he'd do to the studio to the YouTube office shooting which took place in April. Naturally, word of the threat reached Bulkhead themselves and the studio responded by playing a bit of a prank on SUSPC7 - they delivered his Golden Thompson, complete with a secret penis drawn underneath. The player shared the "banter" with Bulkhead boss Joe Brammer over on Twitter:

"We discussed not rewarding you with your Golden Skin," Brammer wrote, "but we thought that was maybe a bit much and nobody would gain anything from it. So instead, I wanted to show you what a real joke is. I myself have drawn a dick on the bottom of your Thompson Golden Skin. People won't really see it, but we'll know it's there and I wanted to have a friendly joke with you.

"We're gamers too, we find things funny too, don't think just because we're a game studio we aren't people."

Brammer also wished the player good luck in the upcoming Blitzkrieg Major in Amsterdam and offered him a drink while he's there.
