Plenty of characters and a major update released for Gears 5

Gears 5 had the biggest launch for any Xbox Game Studios this gen, providing both a campaign and multiplayer component as we'd expect, and now it's time to expand on the latter, since Microsoft has taken to Xbox Wire to reveal that four new characters have been added.

COG Gear, DeeBee, General Raam, and Warden are the ones added, and according to the announcement they all have "powerful multiplayer abilities to master" (read more about what they have to offer individually here). You can play as these heroes and villains right now, either by buying them in the in-game store or playing to unlock them.

The new characters are released along a regular update, which also includes two new characters from the film Terminator Dark Fate - Grace (voiced by actress Mackenzie Davis) and Terminator model Rev-9. There are several changes and fixes too, which amongst other things add the original Curb Stomp back to the game for free.
