It is crystal clear that Pokémon Go fueled the pokémon trend during last summer, but Nintendo didn't capitalise a lot the mobile game success, since it was developed by Niantic Labs and licensed by The Pokémon Company.

Initial shipment of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon have reached 10 million copies around the world, however, and this is the strongest launch game ever for Nintendo, either for a portable or a home console. To compare with the past two titles in the main series, as of September 30 2016, Pokémon X/Y has shipped 15.64 million copies and Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire 13.18 million copies.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are coming out this Friday in America, Australia and Japan and next week to Europe. These games commemorate the 20th anniversary of the popular pocket monsters franchise. Will you be one of the people getting this on release?

REVIEW. Written by Juan A. Fonseca

"Be it the story, visual style, setting, creatures, combat, or even the fan service, this game delves deeper into the RPG genre and it's better for the shift."
