Pokémon Sword and Shield have received a new update

Version 1.3.1 can be downloaded now.

Following The Crown Tundra update, things had gotten pretty quiet for Pokémon Sword and Shield with many fans, like ourselves, assuming that Gamefreak had closed the book on the duo of titles. We were surprised then to see that a new update had been rolled out for the Generation 8 titles. Update 1.3.1 is out now for free and you can view the full patch notes below:

Fixed a number of issues so that gameplay is more enjoyable.
