Pokkén Tournament DX announced

When Nintendo said that they would have a Pokémon Direct today, players around the world hoped and thought they'd finally announce the long rumoured Switch version of Pokémon Sun/Moon. Well, they had a few surprise in store, but not Pokémon Stars.

What they actually have announced is Pokkén Tournament DX for Nintendo Switch. This is obviously Pokkén Tournament getting the same treatment as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Nintendo is keeping fairly tight-lipped about what improvements and inclusions we'll see in the new version, but has announced that we're getting new Pokémon and can play together with a friend using one Joy-Con each. They promise to share more details in the future, and they have a few months to fullfil their promise as the game will launch on September 22. For now we'll have to make do with these details and the trailer below.
