Making games can be a lengthy process, not least if you're tasked with writing the follow up to Lara Croft's first adventure (well, the rebooted first adventure of Lara Croft at any rate).

In a recent interview with Gamereactor, Rise of the Tomb Raider writer Rhianna Pratchett gave us an insight into just how much the team deliberated over how Ms Croft's next adventure should start.

"Usually a lot of iterations during development on characters, tone and setting, and we also have to respond to feedback from play testers (both external and internal) consultants and the rest of the team. It's basically a hurricane of feedback. I think the opening scenes of the game were written about 47 times. I'm really not kidding."
