PSN and PS Plus both reach all time highs

After a recent corporate strategy meeting, Sony has published a report detailing the current health and user base of PlayStation Network and PlayStation Plus. The report has a small section on gaming, which also includes PSVR, and states PSN now has 70 million monthly active users.

A separate report details how 2016 had 26.4 million paid subscribers, almost six million more than the 20.8 million in 2015. It goes on to explain how Sony wants to focus on creating a new service for smart devices in Japan and Asia, along with focusing on PlayStation Vue and PSVR.
