Over the last 30 days, 64% of the 102,657 reviews for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds have been negative, giving the title a recent review rating of "mostly negative".

So why the sudden outrage from Steam users? Complaints range from cosmetics not being free, players getting banned for killing streamers, and even Chinese players having to suffer with advertisements in game.

Whilst the game initially received positive reviews at launch, the game's continuing problems have left player less than amused. As the game is in early access, players expect updates to the game frequently, but complain that there isn't enough.

It's worth noting that it was announced back in August that the update schedule had changed, as the team found that they were rushing a lot of features. Just earlier this month negative Steam reviews came in due to server issues, though, and it seems like some of the community are slowly getting frustrated with aspects of the game.

Do you agree with some of these negative reviews?
