Quake Champions on other platforms not "out of the question"

At least according to community manager Joshua Boyle.

Right now id Software's multiplayer shooter Quake Champions is a game that's exclusive to PC, but VG247 reports that community manager Joshua Boyle remarked when speaking in a roundtable session at this past weekend's QuakeCon that it isn't unreasonable to think it may come to consoles at some point.

"It's not just PC master race, this many frames, it has to perform like this. Mobile, console, all that stuff is definitely never anything that's out of the question, but we don't have plans to announce anything anytime soon," he said.

So it's far from a definite promise of anything, but it's good to hear that at least Boyle isn't totally against the idea of Quake Champions expanding. After all, it did recently become free-to-play, and with more content coming (perhaps at PAX West?) who knows what else can change in the future.

Would you play it on consoles if that was a choice?
