QuakeCon tournaments detailed

This weekend QuakeCon will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, in Grapevine, Texas, and naturally, there will be some esports competition.

Headlining the competitive side of the event is Quake Champions and the QuakeCon Open, which runs from Friday-Sunday (August 10-12) featuring the best 2v2 teams vying for the $175,000. A special twist is that the 8 best teams will then go at it for solo honours in 1v1 where the solo winner takes home a further $25,000.

The Elder Scrolls Master Series is the culmination of a qualifiers online and offline that have been running since June 30 and these card battler will face of Thursday and Friday (August 9-10) for top honours and a share of the $50,000 prize pool.
