Plenty of publishers release their earning reports these days, among them Take Two (Rockstar and 2K Games). Their executives shared recent results with investors, which always means announcements or clues on the publisher's future lineup.

Karl Slatoff, president of Take-Two, wouldn't confirm a PC port of their most anticipated game, Red Dead Redemption 2, but for now has chosen to praise the platform and share how important it is for the company at this point.

"The great news is that the PC market is vibrant for us", Slatoff said as caught by VG247. "It's a great market for us. It's a big market. It's a core market in consumers that are highly engaged. It's a predominantly digital market, which also removes friction in terms of ongoing engagement with a consumer. So, for us, the PC market as a company is very important and very exciting and something we focus on."

Of course, most would think, more so after GTA V huge success on the platform, that it's just a matter of time until Rockstar brings RDR2 to PC following its console launch, if it's not already in the works. However, it's also a matter of genre, it seems, as "some titles are actually heavily weighted to PC, for example, Civilization and XCOM," according to T2 president. Likewise, CEO Strauss Zelnick wouldn't confirm or deny plans to bring Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will see release on PS4 and Xbox One in Q2 2018.
