Western fans will be able to play the Xbox 360 version of the classic Red Dead Redemption on their Xbox One starting the day after tomorrow. And even if the original game was a substantial hit for Rockstar Games, it looks as if many didn't buy it back then or have sold on their copy and are eager to have some open-world horseback action on Xbox One.
As seen on the game's product page at Amazon UK (and via VG247, the sales for the Xbox 360 title increased over 6,000% in the 24 hours following the backward compatibility news, whereas the GOTY edition was up 2,000%. And we have no figures for the digital version available at the Xbox Store, but it's clear many are buying it now, willing to download Red Dead Redemption to play and enjoy it on Xbox One this weekend.
Now this is another testament of the enormous desire for a Red Dead Redemption 2 (or Red Dead 3 if you will) from Rockstar, with the potential sequel still being unconfirmed despite several rumours and supposed leaks in the years since Red Dead Redemption launched.
