At their E3 conference last month Microsoft unveiled a new member of the Xbox family, called Xbox One S. As the name suggests it's a smaller Xbox One, 40 % smaller to be precise, and it comes with a built in power supply as well as support for HDR gaming - among other things.
Now Microsoft has announced when the console will hit the market and thats the 2nd of August. The machine, which will have a hard drive with 2 TB of space, will set you back 399 dollars. There will be two smaller alternatives, 1 TB and 500 gigs, which will cost 349 and 299 dollars respectively. These models don't have release dates as of yet, however.
The console will be available (in limited quantities) in the following countries in August; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and United States. It will reach other regions and countries later on.
