Remedy's announced its new game Quantum Break has been pushed back to 2016.

While there was no specific confirmation, it's clear the push was to give team more time on the game (or as Remedy's Sam Lake calls it on the site post - "entertainment experience"). A surprisingly uncommon decision for this generation of consoles, though it marks yet another title rolling into next year. (Microsoft Studio's Head of Publishing Shannon Loftis puts a different spin on it, stating that the decision "extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP.")

Let's see what's announced at E3 in a couple of months to give us an idea of the launch landscape on Xbox One for the remainder of 2015.

"It's an incredibly ambitious product, and we're surprised that the overall quality is as high as it is."
