When Remothered: Tormented Fathers released it made an impact on the horror scene, with Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama even showing his love for the game, and at Gamescom we spoke with Modus Games' founder Chris Darril about the sequel, called Broken Porcelain.

"We're doing a sort of mix between old school survival horror and the new generation of survival horror, so there will be really a strong story, so it will be a really story-driven game, and with really powerful and dynamic gameplay," he explained.

"A lot of people from the first game probably were angry because the game was probably a little slow. We [learned from] our experience from the first game, so there will be a lot of different features that will make the game really, really, really crazily dynamic."

In the full interview below you can find out how the name change relates to Silent Hill as well, not to mention what Darril himself defines as "true horror".

Did you enjoy the first game?
