We have already reported on a rumoured Nintendo Direct supposedly scheduled for next week (Thursday), and even though it's not been made official there is already much speculation about what might be announced.
One of the outlets adding to the speculation is EGMNOW, who shared an interesting story earlier this week. According to the website representatives from Nintendo asked for permission to use old quotes regarding texts about The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds which came out on 3DS in 2013. There are different international media outlets who can verify that Nintendo recently shows interest in using older texts quote for promotional purposes.
Your guess is as good as ours, but it didn't take our colleagues too long to speculate that an announcement of A Link Between Worlds for Switch may be on the cards. Now, it could, of course, simply be a case of Nintendo looking to promote some older titles, so perhaps we shouldn't make too much of it.
Anyway, a well-received but somewhat overlooked Zelda game would certainly make sense to port onto a system that was launched with a Zelda game that sold incredibly well.
Thanks:
