While we await the launch of the Resident Evil 2 remake, expected on PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of this week, players have been able to enjoy the 1-Shot Demo, a demo version of game that can be downloaded for free across all platforms. Available since January 11, Capcom has revealed some interesting data on downloads through the official website, showing that this demo has been downloaded more than two million times.
We also find out that most of the downloads were made in Europe (more than 600,000 downloads adding the three areas indicated on the map), while in the second and third place we find the United States (more than 500,000) and Japan (more than 400,000). This data could be significantly higher since this only takes into account only those who have authorised Capcom to collect personal data as soon as the demo begins. Less encouraging are the percentage of completion data: it seems, in fact, that only 26% of those who start the demo (and gave consent to Capcom) managed to complete Resident Evil 2 demo.
Did you complete the 1-shot demo?
Thanks, ComicBook.
