Riot has handed out a mix of fines and official warnings to a range of players for their conduct in League of Legends. The sixteen offenders (from eight teams) were caught out during routine behaviour checks, and have been given punishments of varying severity for their conduct in solo queue.

Four players were fined, with Riot confirming that each of the "competitive rulings followed racist or culturally insensitive statements," with the punishments also taking into account previous behaviour.

Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov (Gambit Esports) got a $1K USD fine for negative behaviour. Seunglok "TheShy" Kang (Invictus Gaming) was also fined $1,000 for negative behaviour, which included "intentionally feeding and toxic language."

Afreeca Freecs head coach Yeonsung "iloveoov" Choi got slapped with a $1.5K fine for his conduct, with the total driven up by the frequency of his trangressions and his past record. Meanwhile, Jian "Uzi" Zihao has been fined $2,000 for "griefing his teammates and intentionally feeding and for doing so on an account that did not belong to him, either through account sharing or through a purchased account."
