Road Redemption funded on Kickstarter

With just about 48 hours to go of the Road Redemption Kickstarter campaign the New Orleans developed spiritual successor to Road Rash got the $160,000 in funding asked for.

The game which adds fire arms to the arsenal and sees a very violent form of road racing that place is targeted for release on PC, Wii U and Xbox 360 (actually that's the next stretch goal at $178,000). Oculus Rift support is also a stretch goal ($198,000).
