Roblox is an online game where communities come together to create content and play together, similar to Mojang's Minecraft in a number of ways, but as reported by Eurogamer, Roblox has actually overtaken Minecraft by surpassing 100 million monthly active users, based on March's figure of 91 million for Mojang's game.

"We started Roblox over a decade ago with a vision to bring people from all over the world together through play," said founder and CEO David Baszucki. "Roblox began with just 100 players and a handful of creators who inspired one another, unlocking this groundswell of creativity, collaboration, and imagination that continues to grow."

The beta version of Roblox started all the way back in 2004, and has since received various expansions like an iOS app, a VR version, and more. It's become incredibly popular with young communities (Stranger Things' Noah Schnapp plays it, as he revealed in this video), and evidently has evolved into a beast of a game.
