We already knew Rock Band was coming to virtual reality, so today's news doesn't come as a giant surprise.
Now Harmonix has launched a Fig crowdfunding campaign to make a PC version of Rock Band 4. If they succeed it won't be a straight port, as they'll also give PC players "the tools to author their own songs". These songs can be shared on the Rock Band Network via Steam Workshop, so other Steam users can play them.
The ordinary edition of the PC version will launch with 65 songs, while backers will get an additional 33. As with the console versions you'll also be able to choose between over 1,700 downloadable songs.
If this sounds tempting they're asking for $1,500,000. Not there yet? Does this trailer change your mind?
