Rocket Knight returns

Konami brings back 16 bit classic

Do you remember Rocket Knight Adventures? Or perhaps the sequel Sparkster? Well, either you are not as old as us, or you just didn't dig deep enough into the the wealth of platforming titles during the 16 bit era. Rocket Knight Adventures appeared on Mega Drive/Genesis back in 1993. The sequel Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 came a year later with a spin-off title on Super Nintendo simply called Sparkster appearing the same year.

Today Konami announced that a sequel simply called Rocket Knight is in development at Climax for PC (Steam), Playstation 3 (PSN) and Xbox 360 (XBLA). The title has no firm release date as of yet, but it is a so called 2.5D platformer and below are the first few screens.
