Rocket League's new Salty Shore map: We can't see the ball!

It's too damn bright!

The Salty Shore update has brought a lot of colour and '80s style to Rocket League and players have been able to frolick around on the beach like they're playing volleyball all oiled up on the new map. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a nice summer's day, right?

There's just one problem. According to the folks over on Reddit players are constantly losing track of the ball and have to squint to see what's going on. Why? Because the map is just too damn bright and the light hurts their eyes. The bright sand and brighter sun make them unable to see boost pads and other features, especially if they're facing the side where the sun rises.

With many players complaining about this issue, and about drops in the frame-rate, it might just be necessary for Psyonix to tweak the map a little. Have you tried the new map?

"Matches often descend into violent ramming attacks and opportunistic goal poaching. It doesn't matter though; it's all fun and games."
