Developer Rodeo Games, the creator of Warhammer Quest and Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch, are halting the development of any new games after their latest game sold particularly poorly.

A number of redundancies were made by the company, and the final few who remain will be working on porting Deathwatch to new platforms. No new games will be made by the company for the time being.

The head of Rodeo Games, Ben Murch, said in an http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-02-17-rodeo-stops-making-new-games-after-poor-warhammer-40k-deathwatch-sales">interview</a> that
"despite Deathwatch being the best game we've created as a studio and our highest rated metacritic game, the changes in market have meant that we are unable to continue development as we'd initially planned.

"Coupled with some personal issues within the team, Rodeo Games are currently taking a break from developing any new titles. The team will continue to support our existing titles."

Murch also extended a warm thanks to the fans of their games and the Games Workshop team for their support over the last three years. Hopefully Rodeo will be able to get through this tough time and get back to the business of making games.
