Death Stranding has already received a few trailers, but despite being gorgeous, Kojima Productions has told us very little about the actual game. PlayStation's E3 showcase will provide us with a so-called "deep dive" on the game, and now an alleged insider has provided details on what to expect.

The insider has published a lengthy report detailing exactly how this gameplay demonstration will come about via GamePur, and apparently, the game will offer dynamic multiplayer, global decision making between players, tons of weapons and gadgets and more.

We've included the lengthy post below, which you should definitely take with a hefty pinch of salt. However, should it end up being correct, there might be some spoilers in here as well.

"Tons of weapons, vehicles, gadgets and gear from multiple [eras], from clubs to single shot muskets to energy swords. The baby is something that exists as a singular, it is not something that is instanced each time you boot up the game. The baby is a single entity. He is what is causing the time distortions and dimensions crossing over, which is multiplayer."

He also added players can affect each other's games in positive and negative ways, and suggested that the community will have to decide what to do at the end of the game; "kill the baby and end DS multiplayer forever, or allow it to live and continue the multiplayer experience."

"PVP can happen at any point if you and another player accidentally cross timelines while time traveling," he explained. "When you die that timeline is closed forever, significant things that encapsulate that Sam's story in that timeline will travel with you to the ocean floor before you re-emerge and continue in a new timeline. As you and other players pollute the ocean, it will cause sea-life to die and wash up on shore."

As for when the game might release, "early 2020" was mentioned. It was also suggested that the platform exclusivity deal on PS4 will last for at least 12 months, so there's some bad news for PC players right there.

All in all, it sounds utterly fascinating. Now, sprinkle that salt.
