Despite the fact that the series creator, Hideo Kojima, has finally departed from Konami, the company is still holding on to Metal Gear. Not too long ago they announced a new Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Pachinko machine, and now, if a new rumour is to be believed, they'll re-release Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in a definitive edition.
Several users on Reddit saw an odd listing on Amazon UK which has since been taken down, called Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition.
This has led to speculation that the game might be re-released with its missing content now fully implemented, but it's more likely that it's a complete package with the multiplayer expansions included. We'll keep you updated.
