According to a report on Empire Online Homeland's Rupert Friend is in talks with 20th Century Fox to star as Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman movie (sequel to 2007's film starring Timothy Olyphant). The new movie is directed by debuting Aleksander Bach and was meant to star Paul Walker until his untimely passing late last year. Remains to be seen if Friend could do a better job portraying the silent assassin than Olyphant, but perhaps the bar wasn't set all that high.

"It stays true to the franchise and provides us with a pleasant and suitably frustrating stealth experience."
