An announcement on the official page of the Intel Extreme Masters has revealed that Samsung Galaxy will replace ROX Tigers at the event.

"J Team will represent LMS at IEM's final stop of 2016 and Samsung Galaxy will replace ROX Tigers as the second LCK representatives. ROX have forfeited their seed after failing to submit a full roster by the agreed deadline, leaving Samsung Galaxy and Kongdoo Monsters to defend their home turf at IEM Gyeonggi."

Samsung Galaxy finished in fourth place in the LCK summer split, and have an unchanged team from their second place finish at the Worlds.

"Former World Champions Taipei Assassins are headed to IEM Gyeonggi under the new banner of J Team," the announcement continued. "J Team are currently in the top four of LMS and are looking to prove themselves on the international stage. Their ADC, BeBe, who once lifted the World Championship trophy, will try to show once again that he is worthy of a championship title."

It's a shame that ROX Tigers are no longer a part of IEM Gyeonggi, but the tournament should still be a good one nonetheless. Who do you think will take home the trophy?
